Ok, so I’m a week and a half late on posting 7 month pictures. Things have been CRAZY lately so I haven’t been as on top of personal photography and blogging as I’d like to be. I’ll try to be better about it. I’ll also try to photography Amelia on something other than nice overgrown grass when she decides to stop body slamming herself.
When Amelia was 2 months old I put her in her jumperoo just to see if she fit. Well, we all know how that went.
Amelia is working on pulling herself up to kneeling and standing positions, getting in the crawling stance, clapping and lots of new sounds.
She loves her piano/play table and I love it because it reminds me of my Grandma. We have lots of fun trying to make up silly songs and play some oldies but goodies. If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands…
Here’s some nice comb over action to brighten your day…and no, we’re not cutting it.
One of these things is just not the same. I did it, I made baby food for the first time (thanks Laura for the input). This tray is full of bananas/rice cereal and I had a left over spot so I filled it with carrots/potato/rice cereal from the other tray. Hopefully she’ll like them!
Can you tell that Lila’s on my sh*t list right now? She’s spoiled, so very spoiled. We let her get up in bed and cuddle for a bit every night, we give her cookies, nightly chewy chews, toys, take her to visit other dogs, etc. and how does she repay us…by being evil, pure evil.
Made you look, huh? No – we’re not having another.
We watched our niece Keira on Saturday while Kevin and Melanie had a night out on the town. It was great seeing just how much work it would be with two kiddos. Really it wasn’t all that bad at all. Keira is crawling so she’ll follow you anywhere you go and Amelia will try to roll after you. They play well together and they’re both good babies so it was pretty easy. This does not mean we’re ready for another so don’t get too excited.
Preparing dinner and getting two kiddos fed, bathed and ready for bed was fun. Instead of doing one at a time we prepped dinner for both of them, fed them together and bathed them together. We did a great job of tag-teaming.
Here’s a photo from their first bath together.
A few pictures of Amelia getting ready for bed. Thanks for the cute jammies Aunt Kathy!
Amelia’s successfully lost or pulled out most of her hair and it’s coming back in quite a bit lighter. Her bangs…a.k.a. the comb over is out of control. It’s so long now that it’s in her eyes and it’s a wreck.
We’ve created a little poll to get some opinions as to what we should do with it. For reference here are a few recent photos of the ‘do’.
This really should be entitled shameful confession because this is clearly a shameful indulgence. Read the rest of this entry »
