In honor of celebrating 2 months of life with Amelia I made a little photo slide show. It’s a week late, but I didn’t have an opportunity to do a 2 month photo session until now (the collection at the end are some of her 2 month portraits).
Life has changed; it’s been crazy, fun, unpredictable, emotional, exciting and most of all, wonderful. We can’t imagine life without our little wonder. Between my adoring husband and my precious baby girl, I am truly The Luckiest.

Amelia slept last night from 9:30pm to 5:30am then from 6:00-8:30 this morning…woo hoo!

As Dustin said, Amelia got her immunizations this afternoon and while we both know they are a necessary evil, they are truly evil. She did so well with them, but she’s just not herself this evening and it’s hard to see her this way.
She’s very sleepy and she woke up earlier screaming. She woke up because she tooted and it startled her; can you imagine being so on edge that passing gas made you scream like a fool for an hour? She would calm down for a few minutes here and there, but any little noise would set her off. It hurts me to see my sweet baby girl feeling this way. I swear that those stinking shots hurt me more than they hurt her.
I hope we get our happy smiley baby back tomorrow!

Amelia went in for her 2 month round of shots… and boy did she have FUN!
Actually, she was very good about it. She only screamed for a minute and was easy to soothe. That was then… as expected, she’s not in the best mood tonight. Can’t say I blame her. I still hate needles!
In other news… 11 pounds, 2 ounces. (But that’s with a onesie and a diaper still on…)

Where were these band-aids when we were kids…too cool!

Yesterday I was completely convinced that Amelia could start using her Fisher Price Jumperoo so I made Dustin put it together.
She likes to kick her legs, stand up straight on our laps and all in all she likes to be up looking around so it would be a great fit, right? WRONG! I guess I thought my daughter was bigger than she really is…she has afterall almost doubled her weight in the last two months (she’s now 10lbs 15.7oz….we’ll call it 11lbs).
When I put her in the jumper, her shoulders didn’t even clear the top of the seat so her arms were just hanging through the seat holes.
She looked so pitifully adorable that I had to take a few photos.
