We hit our first speed-bump as parents, we both got sick!
Dustin started getting sick earlier in the week and I started feeling the full effects of the cold on Friday afternoon (fever, chills, cough, headache, etc.). It’s been a trying weekend with both of us down for the count, but we are muddling through and getting better each day. It has taught us another lesson in self reliance and shown us how strong we really are, both as a couple and now as parents.
I am so grateful that he’s my partner in life, that I get to climb out of bed each morning knowing that he’s going to take care of me and now our daughter. I truly love this man.
