Many people have told me that Amelia is incredibly friendly and very social. She doesn’t really know what strangers are and will start talking to and playing with any kid she encounters. She really likes old people too and will stop everything to stare at them. I am not sure where this fascination came from but she just really loves old people. I’ll have to teach her at some point that it’s rude to stare.
Amelia’s ability to get along and talk to anyone is astounding. This is yet another trait she gets from me. My friend Dawn always says that I could talk to a tree stump and it would talk back. Yes, I like to talk, a lot. Well, here’s Amelia being smiley and silly. She was playing with Lila and talking to me about the fish in Grandma’s tank and then she decided to explore the camera – hence the really extreme closeup.
