I am 33 weeks pregnant and I have poison ivy, anywhere and everywhere you can imagine. It’s been a week and two days now since I picked it up while weeding my FRONT yard.
I’ve been to the dermatologist and in conjunction with my OB I am on 5 prescriptions. Things finally seem to be letting up a bit, but the steroids are keeping me awake while the antihistamines are making me drowsy and drunk feeling.
Taking the antihistamine is how I imagine drinking a half of a glass of wine will feel on Christmas Eve…party time! Note to self: don’t pull on small viney looking things in the front yard without wearing gloves.
