Can you tell that Lila’s on my sh*t list right now? She’s spoiled, so very spoiled. We let her get up in bed and cuddle for a bit every night, we give her cookies, nightly chewy chews, toys, take her to visit other dogs, etc. and how does she repay us…by being evil, pure evil.

Yesterday I grabbed three animal crackers from the container and set them on the coffee table to eat while I warmed my lunch. I thought that I ate all of them, but apparently not. My sniper dog casually walked by, stuck out her tongue to grab it and kept on walking. I have underestimated her intelligence and stealth-like training. It’s like those things are doggie crack or something. If she hears the container opening while she’s outside she’ll run to the back door and slam into it. She must have a cracker.

She’s also pretty much demolished my potted crepe myrtle tree. I don’t know when she does it because we’ve been limiting her time in the backyard. She must walk by in her stealthy manner and break off a branch or two at a time. My poor tree has one bent scraggly branch left. If it was a bonsai it would be picture perfect.

She already killed our concrete gnome. She would walk around the back yard with it and play fetch by herself. Yes, this is the loser dog’s version of playing chess by oneself. She broke the head off and it went to pieces from there. Dustin kept trying to tell me that it was the wind knocking it over. I had to prove him that I wasn’t crazy, it didn’t take long.

I love this dog to bits and she’s incredible with Amelia, but she’s gonna make me crazy. Here she is serving as Amelia’s support post while Amelia’s learning to pull herself up. She’s perfected the role of good pup, bad pup and certainly spoiled pup.
