There’s an article in the Houston Chronicle today about how you would sum up your life in 6 words or less.  I thought it was a fascinating concept and didn’t know if I’d be able to do it.  As you all know I’m quite wordy so this would prove to be quite a feat for me, but alas I found 6 words that sum up my beautiful life.

Happily seeking delight in small things.

When I was in high school I had a teacher who always said ‘don’t sweat the small stuff.’  I never really thought about what she meant when she said that.  I guess I do follow the same mantra to a degree.  It’s not so much don’t sweat the small stuff for me, it’s savor the small stuff.  Savor the moments of peace with your husband after a long day, savor the giggles, savor the cuddles, savor the conversations with friends and family, the kisses and hugs before a loved one departs, savor every moment big and small.

Here’s my challenge to all my friends and family, sum up your life in 6 words or less and share those words with someone you love.  Enjoy!
